2ND GENERATION | AWARD-WINNING | NATIONALLY & INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNISED | AUSTRALIA-WIDE
You don’t need to know what you want to create yet.
Keep the flowers cool and out of direct sunlight, and contact us as soon as possible. We’ll guide you on how to care for them and the best way to get them safely to our Western Sydney studio.
Flowers can celebrate a long life, mark a life that was far too short, or bring beauty to a loss for which there simply are no words. They may have rested on a casket. Surrounded a photograph at a memorial service. Grown in someone's garden. Been given to you by someone you love. And when the service is over, throwing them away can feel like losing something all over again.
Memorial flower preservation gives you another choice.
We preserve meaningful flowers and transform them into artwork and keepsakes designed to keep their memory, their story and your connection to them visible in your home. You don't need to know what you want yet. If someone has just passed away, choosing a frame or deciding how a memorial should look is probably the last thing you want to think about. You don't have to.
The first priority is getting the flowers safely into preservation.
Once your flowers are in our care, there is time to consider what you would like them to become. We'll guide you through the preservation styles, display options and meaningful items that can be incorporated when you're ready.
3 Dimensional Memorial Flower Preservation
Pressed Memorial Flower Preservation
Both options preserve the actual flowers entrusted to us. The biggest difference is how you would like them to look and live in your home afterwards
Flowers from casket arrangements, wreaths, funeral services and memorial arrangements can all be preserved. But sometimes the flowers that matter most came from somewhere else entirely.
Flowers from their garden
A rose they planted. Rosemary from beside their home. A flower they grew every year. Sometimes the most ordinary flower carries the greatest connection.
Flowers they gave you
The last bouquet they bought you. Anniversary flowers. A bloom kept from another meaningful moment. Your flowers do not need to have come from a funeral to become part of a memorial.
Baby & infant memorial flowers
Flowers from a service, hospital or family arrangement can be preserved alongside photographs, certificates, name cards, baby keepsakes or other meaningful pieces, or simply preserved as an artwork of their own.
A meaningful memorial isn't necessarily about the day someone passed. It can be about who they were.
Alongside preserved flowers, we can incorporate meaningful pieces that help tell more of their story, including photographs, handwritten notes, watchrd funeral cards, medals, jewellery, fabric, certificates, baby keepsakes and other small mementos.
A flower from their funeral. Their photograph. Something they wrote. Something they wore. Something they treasured. Together, they can become something that feels like them.
We met with Jessica to plan out using the flowers from my mother’s funeral for a memorial for her, being three x 3D frames with photo. Jessica was so easy to work with, patient & understanding. What really blew me away though was the finished product!! Oh my goodness, so professionally completed, the colours are amazing and the set up for when we arrived to collect was so personal and beautifully done. The team has done an amazing job, exceeding our hopes & so honouring of our Mother and Nana. I highly recommend the For Keeps Team for anyone wanting to preserve their cherished items & memories. Thank you from the depths of my soul xx

1. Get in touch
Contact us as soon as possible. You only need to decide whether you prefer pressed or 3D preservation.
2. Get your flowers to us
Drop off, courier or post your flowers to our Western Sydney studio, ideally within 24–48 hours.
3. Preserve & design
We begin preservation straight away. Around 6–8 weeks later, we’ll guide you through your design, colours and meaningful inclusions.
4. Bring their story home
Your flowers are reconstructed and finished into your chosen artwork, ready for collection or delivery in approximately 4–6 months.
Drying flowers isn't the same as preserving them. We know the difference.
Depending on the flower, preserving a single bloom can involve 48–56 individual steps. After more than 30 years specialising in flower preservation, that depth of process shows in every arrangement we preserve.
Different flowers have different cellular structures, moisture levels and preservation requirements, which means one method cannot simply be applied to an entire arrangement. With the support of our plant physiologist, each flower is assessed individually so its preservation process can be tailored to the bloom itself.
Before preservation begins, every arrangement is carefully photographed and documented. We record the flowers and their colours against the Royal Horticultural Society Colour Chart before preservation, reconstruction and colour enhancement where appropriate.
More than drying flowers. Preservation, flower by flower.
Every memorial piece is individually designed around the flowers and mementos entrusted to us, so final pricing depends on the preservation style, display format, size, framing, glazing and any meaningful inclusions you choose.
Prices begin from $600 for smaller keepsakes, such as candle holders and baubles using one or two flowers. More substantial memorial displays can extend into the thousands, with most families choosing a finished piece between $1,100 and $1,800.
You do not need to make every design decision when your flowers arrive. Once your flowers have been preserved and stabilised, we can guide you through the available options and help you create a piece that feels right for your family.
A. We recommend getting your funeral flowers to our studio as soon as possible, ideally within 24 to 48 hours of the service.
The better their condition when they arrive, the greater our opportunity to achieve a beautiful preservation result.
We can accept flowers outside this timeframe, although their condition may influence the final outcome.
A. Yes. If you still have flowers from a funeral or memorial service, please contact us as soon as possible so we can discuss your preservation options.
The condition of your flowers and the time since the service will influence what may be possible, but we are happy to assess them and advise you.
A. Keep your flowers somewhere cool, out of direct sunlight and ideally in an air-conditioned room.
For arrangements in floral foam: Carefully top up the floral foam with water to help keep the flowers hydrated.
For flowers with accessible stems: Trim 1–2 centimetres from the ends and place them in fresh water.
For flowers inserted into Styrofoam: The flowers cannot absorb water through the Styrofoam, so please prioritise getting them to our studio as soon as possible.
If you're unsure how your flowers have been arranged, contact our team for advice.
A. No. We understand that this is a difficult time and making decisions may feel overwhelming.
Initially, we only need to know whether you would like your flowers preserved three-dimensionally or pressed.
You do not need to choose your frame, dome or finished artwork immediately.
All other design decisions are made approximately six to eight weeks after we receive your flowers, once they have been stabilised and can be handled again.
This gives you time before deciding how you would like your flowers and memories displayed.
A. The number of flowers needed depends on your chosen preservation style and the size of your finished artwork.
Even if you only want a few blooms preserved, we recommend providing a larger selection where possible so our team can choose the flowers in the best condition.
If you're bringing your flowers to our studio, we'll select the most suitable blooms with you during your appointment. You can then take the remaining fresh flowers home.
A. Yes. Whether you have a single rose, a few meaningful blooms or an entire funeral arrangement, we can discuss preservation options suited to the flowers you have.
You don't need a large arrangement to create something meaningful. Sometimes a single flower carries an entire story.
A. Yes. This is a common choice for many of our families, and each person can choose a different preservation style and display.
One family member may prefer a glass dome, while another may choose a framed artwork. Some may prefer three-dimensional preservation, while others choose pressed flowers.
We understand that grief is individual. Each keepsake can be designed to reflect the person receiving it and the memories they would like to preserve.
A. Yes, and we encourage you to share the personal details that made your loved one unique.
Your memorial artwork can bring together preserved flowers with photographs, jewellery, watches, handwritten notes or other meaningful belongings.
We've even discreetly incorporated favourite chocolates and cigarettes as personal nods to the little habits and details families remember with affection.
The items we can include will depend on their size, condition and suitability for your chosen display.
Our aim is to create something that celebrates the person they were and the life they lived, not simply the occasion on which the flowers were received.
A. Your preserved flowers will retain much of their original character, although some changes to colour, shape and texture naturally occur during preservation.
Before beginning, we carefully photograph and document your flowers, including their original colours.
Depending on your chosen preservation style, your flowers may be pressed into botanical artwork or preserved three-dimensionally and reconstructed for their finished display.
Where appropriate, we carefully refine and colour-enhance individual blooms, using our original records as a reference to help preserve the character of the flowers you entrusted to us.
A. Absolutely. We accept funeral and memorial flowers from across Australia.
Please contact our team before sending your flowers so we can provide suitable packing and shipping instructions.
We'll guide you through preparing your flowers for transport to our Western Sydney preservation studio, helping them arrive in the best possible condition.
A. Our complete memorial flower preservation process typically takes four to six months, from receiving your flowers to completing your finished heirloom.
Approximately six to eight weeks after your flowers arrive, we'll guide you through your design consultation, where you can select your preferred display and discuss any photographs or personal mementos you would like incorporated.
From there, your preserved flowers are carefully reconstructed, arranged and presented in your chosen artwork.
Each piece is individually created with the care and attention its story deserves.
