YOUR FLOWERS, PRESERVED IN DIMENSION
Three-dimensional preservation retains the depth and form of your flowers, allowing us to create an arrangement that closely recalls your original bouquet or arrangement.
How closely it resembles the original depends on the display you choose. A shallow shadow box requires a deep bouquet to be thoughtfully rearranged to fit. A spacious glass dome allows more of its original form to be retained, with the flowers visible from all angles.
Your display can reflect the bouquet you carried, showcase a selection of meaningful blooms, or bring your flowers together with photographs and treasured mementos.
During your design consultation, we discuss what is possible within your preferred display and how the arrangement will come together.
Preserve the shape, texture and character of your meaningful flowers in a bespoke keepsake.
From wedding bouquets to memorial arrangements, 3D preservation allows your actual flowers to retain their dimensional form before being reconstructed into a display designed around your story and the way you want to enjoy them in your home.
How We Preserve Your Flowers in 3d
Preparation tailored to each bloom
ASSESSMENT AND COLOUR RECORDING
CONTROLLED MOISTURE REMOVAL
COLOUR ENHANCEMENT AND RECONSTRUCTION
Sealing and refining
Every flower is assessed individually. Its structure and condition guide how we prepare, preserve and reconstruct it.
When your flowers arrive, we assess their condition and hydration, rehydrating them where required.
We photograph your arrangement and record the flowers’ colours using the Royal Horticultural Society colour chart. These records guide our work throughout preservation, colour enhancement and reconstruction.
We carefully dismantle your bouquet so each flower can receive the preparation appropriate to its cellular structure.
Some flowers are preserved whole. Others require us to separate and later reconstruct individual petals. Depending on the flower, we may use a supporting medium to help retain its shape or a specialist preservation treatment before moisture removal.
There is no single preparation method suitable for every bloom.
All flowers pass through our vacuum system, including those prepared with supporting mediums or specialist treatments.
Under vacuum, moisture is removed from the flowers in gaseous form. We monitor the moisture collected from the chamber, using this to determine when the drying stage is complete.
The time required varies according to the flowers’ moisture content, structure and preparation.
Once the flowers leave the machine, we apply a sealant to help limit their absorption of atmospheric moisture.
We then carefully refine each bloom, removing browned or damaged petals and trimming, shaping and adjusting the remaining petals to achieve the best possible appearance.
Every flower receives colour enhancement, guided by the Royal Horticultural Society colour recorded when it arrived.
This helps bring the preserved flowers as close as possible to their original colouring and supports colour retention over time.
Your flowers are then reconstructed and arranged within your chosen display, following the design developed with you.
Most orders are completed within four to six months. Timing varies according to the number and type of flowers, their moisture content, the treatments required and your selected display.
YOUR DESIGN CONSULTATION
Once your flowers are stabilised and safe to handle, usually around six to eight weeks after they arrive, we invite you to your design consultation.
Together, we choose the composition, display style, frame or dome, background, glazing and any photographs or meaningful mementos you would like included.
You’ll also be able to see examples of your preserved flowers, allowing us to discuss how their original arrangement can be recreated or adapted to suit the depth and dimensions of your chosen display.
We then prepare a sketch of the proposed design so you can understand how the flowers and other elements will come together before reconstruction begins.
designed around your story
Your keepsake is completely bespoke.
You may want to preserve your whole bouquet, feature a few significant flowers or combine your blooms with objects that give the arrangement even greater meaning.
Photographs, certificates, jewellery, garters, horseshoes and tiaras can all become part of the design, subject to the space and structure of your chosen display.
During your consultation, we explore the arrangement, background, colours and display options. We prepare a design sketch to help you picture how your flowers and mementos will come together.
Materials, protection and natural changes
Our framed displays use timber frames, acid-free and lignin-free backing materials, and 99% UV-protective glass. With the option to upgrade to Museum Glass
Preservation retains your flowers’ three-dimensional form, but they remain natural materials and will have some differences from their fresh appearance.
Colours may shift by approximately one or two shades. Petals can appear more papery and less translucent once dried, and some variation in shape is natural. Our refinement and colour-enhancement stages help achieve a finished result that closely reflects the flowers entrusted to us.
We provide care and cleaning guidance appropriate to your chosen keepsake.
Every keepsake includes our two-year insect warranty.
A. Yes. We preserve and reconstruct the actual flowers you entrust to us. Your finished keepsake is created from those blooms.
A. We create an artistic rendition that can closely resemble your bouquet. The degree of similarity depends on the original arrangement and the dimensions of your chosen display.
A shallow frame requires a different composition from a dome that accommodates the bouquet’s depth. We discuss these differences during your consultation.
A. We work with all flower types, including foliage, native flowers, succulents and berries.
Each requires its own preparation. Delicate flowers such as daisies, chrysanthemums and sunflowers can involve separating and reconstructing individual petals.
The condition of your flowers when they arrive also influences the result.
A. Some change is natural. Colours may shift by approximately one or two shades, while dried petals can look more papery and less translucent than fresh petals.
Every flower receives colour enhancement, guided by our intake colour records, to help achieve a close match and support colour retention.
A. Yes. This is a restoration process rather than preservation from fresh.
We assess what can be achieved through careful reshaping, colour enhancement and refinement. The result depends on the condition and structure of the already dried flowers.
